I am a preventive medicine physician and  epidemiologist. I specialize clinically in travel medicine and the diagnosis of neuropsychiatric adverse reactions to the anti-malarial medication mefloquine. My current research interests focus on characterizing the pathophysiology and genetic epidemiology of this effect. I also have interests in cost-effectiveness research and military public health policy analysis.
